About the Skipper : Matteo Mariani.
I am a scientist, engineer, artist and skipper. I have a PhD in Biophysics, I have been university researcher, I designed boats and large yachts (the larger of 55 meters), transport busses and furniture. I am a rescue diver, free diver, licenced captain. I sail now for more then 30 years, many thousands of miles all over the world. The sea, together with science, is my great passion.
